Premium Basics.

Hi, everyone.

After three long months, I have finally resumed working on my blog’s establishment. I actually had no time for my social media handles as well as the blog as I was caught up preparing for my 12 grade examinations. However, I managed to put things together while I could so that I can resume publishing without any further delay.

So, summer is finally here and the best way to escape this inevitable heat blazing down on us is to stock up on the latest spring and summer trends. In my opinion, summer is the best time when to casually utilise all our premium basics and curate great looks in almost no time. This season very easily allows us to mix and match our basics. For instance, a crew neck tee or a tank top with different bottomwear pieces helps us to create multiple outfits.

This season’s trend is all about investing in our basics and making sure they’re made from materials that are going to be good to our skin, not fall apart after a couple of washes, and maintain their colour.

Effortlessly, I have paired my slim-fit chino trousers with a basic round-neck T-shirt. On my feet, are a pair of Double Buckle Monk shoes.

This look is very effective in keeping your semi-formal and casual games strong as it can be worn to dinner with your family or to a cocktail party with the guys or on a date.

Lastly, I would like to emphasise on mixing and matching the pieces you have in mind while creating an outfit because if a situation arises where you might not fancy throwing on a  summer shirt with a pair of wide leg trousers, there are ways you can mix and match this season’s looks and make them work for you. So get out there, find a way to embrace a unique look.

Here’s my take on the premium basics I own :

T-shirt – H&M.

Fashion Forward Trouser – Jack & Jones.

Double strap Monk shoes – Koovs Fashion.
