Denim + Plaid

Hi everyone,hope you’ll had a great weekend!

Today’s blogpost is about a very simple yet vital look. Not everyone can don this kind of look with ease. So What kind of look am I talking about ?

A casual long sleeve shirt-trouser/jean look is the one I’m talking about. These kind of looks seem very simple and hence easy to don but when you actually go and open up your wardrobe, you usually end up in a fix. This confusion is mostly caused because of a lot of colour options, prints and patterns.Trust me, I’m talking out of past experiences as I have witnessed a lot of outrageous and style-gone-wrong kind of attires in which casual long sleeve shirts are involved and I really feel that people get away with anything under the tag of ‘Fashion’.

Having at least 2 long sleeved casual shirts should give your wardrobe enough versatility if combined with our other essentials. A denim shirt will work on its own or can be used as a layer while a oxford shirt can be paired up variously to get a formal look.

Here, I have teamed up a checkered plaid shirt from the house of U.S Polo Assn. with a mid rise anti-fit jeans for a casual and dapper look. Because of its versatility, you can pair this piece of shirt with a trouser too of course to get a semi-formal look too.

Check this look out and tell me how you like it in the comments section below 🙂

Checkered shirt – U.S Polo Assn.

Ribbed Denims – Jack and Jones

Sunnies – Jack and Jones

White lace-ups – Zara

Wrist wear – Ace Accessories and Koovs fashion
